Sorry to hear this. When I was young and saw a beutiful sportscar, I allways thought: one day I will have a car just like that.

Nowadays, it seems the trend is if someone sees a beutiful sportscar they think
1. Nice car, One day I will have THAT car
2. Nice car, one day he wont have a nice car anymore

Sad.

Repair cost seems in line...........I had a 6 inch scratch on an SL and it cost me $ 1,200......fender had to be removed and sprayed, etc......

I had had it done to me also on another brand new car and it doesn't feel great as you go to great lengths/expense to make sure it is painted right, etc.....especially on a new car......

Could it be the Politicians and their class warfare against those that work hard and are successful?

No question about this. I am more worried then ever about driving nice cars around due to the rhetoric coming out of these politicians. It is so sad that we have changed from a society that valued success to one that points accusatory fingers at successful people --fair share, you didn't build that, ect ect.

Amen! I was parking in a lot waiting for my wife when a lady parked near me and said "nice car, what is it?" I said "it's a Porsche Panamera." The response was instant: "You're one of those 1%ers." I just smiled and said "I wish." It's sad where this nation is headed.

Paying a few bucks for Rennlist Membership gives you instant good karma and no more keying of your expensive cars.

Default stolen center caps

Agree. I have parked my 911 and cayenne in my office parking lot for years without vandalism. Few weeks ago walking to my car witnessed a Honda accord filled with teenagers throw a full soda on my new pana gts. One week later all my painted center caps were stolen. Seriously wtf.

I got the "1%er" comment in Bradenton. It happens everywhere.

rob - sorry to hear about the vandalism - a pure act of cowardness. I am sure if any of us would have witnessed it, someone would be experiencing a whole bunch of unhappiness.

I believe in karma and what goes around comes around. Just take some consolation that you have the beautiful car you have, and that poor sap who keyed yours doesn't.
