Well after months of researching, reading hundreds of reviews and forum topics, test driving and rationalizing I have finally pulled the trigger on a Panamera.
I had considered and driven the MB E350, E550, Audi A6, A5, BMW 5 series both the GT and the sedan, Jaguar XF, Infinity 37 and 56, and Lexus 350, ISF and finally the Panamera V6.
Finally picked up my Panamera 4 today. Platinum Silver Metallic with black leather, Burr Wood, 19 in turbo wheels with color crest, servo, park/assist with camera, Bose stereo, XM radio, heated seat front seats, auto dimming mirrors.
Loved the drive home!

The first drive is the greatest. Enjoy, they only get better. I'm still finding out things about my P4S after 6 months. I didn't know, or realize, that it had a function that keeps the wheels from loosing traction if you come off the gas suddenly on a slippery surface.

Cannon1000 - you are right proof is in the pics. Here are some pics.
Delayed for two reasons - had the car back at the dealer to have the clear bra applied and had a very unsual humming sound that I noticed when the car hit 45-65 mph.
The clear bra - applied to the entire hood, front bumper, headlights and mirrors looks great. You cannot tell at all especially since they wrapped it around the edges. One of the pics shows the area of the front door/front side panel and you cannot tell at all - even if you touch it is hard to tell there is a film.
The humming noise:
The car seem to "struggle" at speeds over 45. It seemed as if had a governor on it. I mentioned it to the dealer and initially they thought it was just the usual humm of the Porsche engine that I was not used to. Being paranoid as a first time Porsche owner I wanted to make sure. They promised to take a drive and let me know what they found.
Sure enough their master mechanic identified the "airplane" sound as soon as he drove it. Engine and trasmission diagnostics were negative and they narrowed it down to ball bearing in the front right wheel. He described the sound exactly as I had heard it. They contacted Porsche and they had not had any other reports of similar issues. Had the ball bearing part flown in and replaced. Several of the mechanics drove the car and they all thought it was completely fixed. Drove it all weekend and the noise is completely gone. Car drives like it should - smooth and fun, no more rev noise.
Hopefully clear sailing from now on!
