In last 1,250 miles have burned about 1.5 quarts of oil. Have a call into the dealer. Panamera S with about 4,300 miles, new Feb 2010. Opinions / suggestions. This is one sweet machine and a super daily driver

My Panamera Turbo used a quart in its first 1200 miles. New late Feb. 2010, break-in by the book.
Second quart at 1800 after adding first quart.
Third quart at about 3800 miles after second quart.
Oil change light came on @ around 9500 total miles with oil gauge at 1/2, so looking like 5000-6000 miles per quart at the moment.
It's getting better every day!

Some engines just use oil. On my 4th Porsche (first with water cooling) and the water cooled 997S sucks oil at the rate of a quart / 1000 miles. (Now with 49,000 miles). Broke in per the book. Used that same rate from day one.
