Default Difference in ride with Adaptive Air suspension?

Is there a different ride with adaptive air suspension relative to the stock suspension? Anyone notice a diffence? Different I mean as in quality of ride, rougher or smoother over rough roads?

Anyone???

My Panamera, being a Turbo, has the adaptive air suspension and I haven't driven a Panamera without it, so take this as deductive reasoning instead of experience. I have had several Cayennes, with and without adaptive air and there is a difference that is noticeable but not disqualifying in the two. I think the option is worth the money because of the smoother ride and better handling (especially with PDCC), but that doesn't make the ones without it a bad vehicle. The "Porscheness" of the ride and handling are more unique with adaptive air and the ones without it don't really stand out as something special when compared to other sporting vehicles. It's also a lot of fun to be able to vary the ride height in the Cayennes, even though all you can do in the Panamera is lower it by selecting Sport Chrono Plus.

Thanks alot. That does help. I have it on order for my P4S, but read on another board a Turbo owner was having problems with the Struts leaking air and not being calibrated when the car sits around for a while!??!

I certainly like the "Smoother" result especially with 20s!

Thanks for your opinion!

The Panamera can be raised up with the air suspension for going over large curbs, this is a nice feature and I have already used it. Once you get up to 19mph, it automatically lowers. The suspension lowers further when you select the Sport Plus program....
The ride in the Comfort mode is really good, not too soft, not too hard, just right. Love the air suspension.
