Video Review - Edmunds

Thanks for the links. I must admit, I'm getting a bit more anxious about the Panamera as the days go by. Mind you, I still think it's visually unattractive, but I'm excited about its early driving impressions from the press.

The "journalist" is dead wrong about the need for pedals (imo).
The buttons work better and are more intuitive, and better functioning, that the Ferrari or MB pedals. I have used all on the track on many occasions, and the buttons are the best!
The buttons are where you need them every time.
If you really don't like the buttons, flick the lever!

sorry about the limp-wristed Edmunds driver. i like my buttons and did from the jump
in fact, i felt them superior to paddles right away. there is nothing tricky at all about two symmetrically functional buttons always in the same place regardless of wheel position. what could be easier?
telling you guys, just as the Cayenne changed the SUV market, the Panamera will change the performance sedan market. i'm not a cheerleader for anything. but a great design is what it is. and Porsche has set the standard for everything they decide to do. credit where credit is due...
