Cobalt I think your Porsche underwear is a few sizes too small. Or maybe you should just go hug your Porsche bear and try to feel better. I'm through with you- I can't imagine having the time to post on here over eight thousand times.

I like it. Having seen it at the dealership, it's lower, bigger, wider and more intimidating than the photos convey. Dark blue with black interior would be amazing. Can't wait to drive one.
It took years for me to see the beauty of the 928, 964, 996, the Boxster, and the Cayenne. But, now they turn my head every time I see one - it's reflex. I'm certain the Panamera will do the same for me.

I think that is spot on with my thinking although I liked the Boxster from day 1 despite its early lack of power. I distinctly remember the 928 being "the German corvette" and many friends really disliking it. Now I turn my head whenever I see one. And the Cayenne,...I thought Porsche was insane to make that car but now I love our pig.

I swung by Ira today to visit Alfie and to see the Panamera for the first time in the flesh. I was pleasantly surprised. I LOVE the front of the car and the cockpit was top notch.
I asked about the possibility of towing with the Panamera (in case anyone else was wondering) but apparently the frame won't go more than 1500 lbs. Too bad,...I think it would have been a great DD and slick tow vehicle.

Turbo II wheels look very good on the Panamera. Are they Porsche wheels and what size are they?
In looking through the many posts on the design a couple of observations: hatchback is ungainly, but purely functional, which is entirely in keeping with Porsche design forever; it has no peers in the large sedan class and as a unique vehicle will be polarizing and if anyone doubts the reason for this vehicle, drive one and unless one has the totally unrealistic expectation that it is a track vehicle, the experience will at the least convince one that no version of the S Class, 7 Series or A8 comes close. As a former owner of big AMG, BMW and RS versions of Audi's sedans, as well as a 997 4S, and as one who owns an 08 A8 and who is very attracted to the D4 (Audi 2011 A8) I am seriously considering the Pan 4S or Turbo as my only vehicle. Quirky? Yes the Panamera is a bit weird by current sedan design conventions, but to me has enough of the dynamic characteristics that make it unique among sedans. Oh yes, the Turbo should not be embarrassed by runs against most supercars with its 3.4 second time 0-60 and 11.7 in the quarter mile. That is remarkable for such a large vehicle. Now if the many predictions of significant depreciation in the soft economy materialize, Panameras should be more reasonably priced. Early indications on that subject are encouraging if the discounts of about 8-10% on ordered cars are any indication.

Yes, they are factory Porsche wheels standard equipment on '10 911 Turbos and are offered as a $1,820 option (as stated on their website's build configurator) on the Panamera. They are 20" in size. I think they look good too so I added it to the thread. Found the pics through the Google on another site.
