Default Random Key Not Detected Alert

Hello,

I own a 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S and recently while driving randomly I'll get the "Key Not Detected" message in the gauge cluster even though the key is present in the vehicle. I did replace the battery after this warning since I did notice the key would only work in close distance to the car. However this issues still persists of while I am driving the "Key Not Detected" warning will remain in the gauge cluster. If anyone else has had the same issue or give any insight to what it could be, I would be appreciate it greatly.

Best location is right pocket or center console.

I believe the key sensor is located in the arm rest console so having it in your right pocket would be best

I keep it in my middle hoodie pocket or right pocket. Just confused mainly because I've owned the car for almost year and never have had this issue until late.

i've had this as well, i went from the cheap batteries to an actual brand name battery and problem went away. it also might be a good idea to make sure battery is fresh as far as age is concerned.
