Launch X431 has handled coding and maintenance functions on our 2012 Cayenne turbo and 2012 Panamera turbo flawlessly. Even replacing modules.

Simple diagnostics is in English, but if you want to do some coding then you need to enter Engineer mode which changes a lot of the information into German. A translator on your phone will help, and ChatGPT can be surprisingly helpful in guiding you through certain things. But on the Panamera it is as some have stated a bit of a dark art. The 718 and Cayman forums have a fair bit of info on them, but not all settings will be there when you look for them on your Panamera.

Things are possible though. It's quite simple but on my 2014 4S I set the Start/Stop functionality to remember the last setting when the engine was turned off. Now that's not advanced ignition and fuel mapping, but it's a start.

What I would say though is post up your successes or failures in here. The more info that's posted about it, the more people can learn and will be willing to try more.

So, can ThinkDiag do most of the programming? Including enabling the Matrix LED headlights?
