Default 970 Spoiler issue

Looking at a 970 PTTS and it has the spoiler issue. I’m not in love with the stock spoiler. Can I just have it disconnected? Will it always throw a code? I’m not gonna hit 150 too often. Thanks

It can be fixed fully open without codes if you can get it there.

will always throw a bong sadly, unless PIWIS can code it out . I've just fitted an additional spoiler to mine last week, Prior design ducktail, looks mega .

It will always throw a code when you get to the speed its supposed to deploy unless you code it out with PIWIS.

Hmm… mine stays deployed up with no codes, and still moves/tilts up at 150. One side of the wing doesn’t retract in fully when set to auto and will throw a fault code when it tries to go down. No PIWIS coding required
