Default Wiring Radar Detector to Mirror - Help Needed

Hi all. I just picked up a 2023 Panamera GTS, and I want to power my Uniden radar detector from the power in the rear view mirror (I did this in a prior Audi). I looked online but could not find anything specific to the Panamera. Have any of you done this? If so, are there any websites/instructions you can direct me to? Thanks in advance!

Frank

Take a look at the Fitcamx dash cam installation instructions for 971, as they supply a splitter cable to draw power for their dash cam - from memory I think it is the rain sensor that it draws power from.

i haven’t done this yet, but am exploring the Fitcamx product. Hope that helps point you in the right direction at least.

Blendmount has mirror tap kits. As for what to tap I’m not sure as I went to my fuse box. There is a thread or two on the forum if you search.
