Default 2018 971 Turbo Whining Noise

I recently purchased a 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo and I have started noticing a whining noise outside the car when idle. Is this to be of any concern?

See Attached Video.

Hard to tell where its coming from. It sounds like a belt noise possibly. Can you remove the engine cover(just be careful not the break the clips on the cover) and listen to the belt area and see if the noise is louder there.

Too late on the engine cover clips. They look like they were melted/broken when I got it. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the engine. Kind of right in front of where the oil filter is, maybe slightly to the right. I assume there is some belts down in there. The sound seems to pulse on and off.

I agree about the pulsing. It kinda sounds like either a belt or pulley noise. If you have some wd-40 or silicon spray. Spray a little on the belt and see if the noise changes pitch or goes away. If it doesn't then probably not a belt system issue.

Also check your hydraulic tensioner for any signs of leaking. Mine went up before i bought the car and they had to fix it. It let all the fluid out and broke the belt.
