Emissions coding — changed at PDI?
I’d like to import a Panamera to New Zealand. There are strict emissions requirements: I need to demonstrate that the Panamera meets Euro 5 emissions or higher.
I’ve found a few Singapore Panamera that, when I do a VIN Analytics report, come back as Euro 5 from factory. (Option code 165, EMISSIONS CONCEPT EU 5.)
Apparently some Porsche might be programmed with a different emissions spec as part of the pre delivery inspection — is this true? What are the chances?
I don’t want to import a vehicle thinking it’s Euro 5 and then find out it’s not when I get my hands on it.
