Default PDK Service Oil - Alt/Equivalents to FFL-3?

Was told to do the PDK service asap.

I'm gonna most likely do it at a friend's shop, since the dealers are literal scammers, both in terms of their labor cost and material cost.

I've read that Pentosin FFL-3 is best and approved, but are there any other oils that can be used, if so, what are their drawbacks?

After some searching on some websites and going through design911.com, which recommends which products to use, I saw that Febi Bilstein Gear Oil apparently serves as an alternative for FFL-3? It's far more widely available at where I live as I have not been able to find any Pentosin FFL-3 for sale.

If I do go with the decision of using Febi BIlstein, what should I expect, and should I change it more often, because perhaps it's not of the same quality?
And are there any better options, or would that be the best? Perhaps somethign from Mobil or a larger company (just guessing).

Thanks in advance!

I prefer Liqui Moly. Not sure if this is the right kit, but this might be what you're looking for. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...97032102500kt1

I don't think that's available where i live at :[

I'm planning of keeping the filter since the filter gets changed at 120k I heard, unless I can find some aftermarket filter to put in.
Only thing I'm looking for is the gear oil, I might eventually have to stick with the febi bernstein stuff since there's no other, unless there's something.

Is this for PDKs? Have you tried it? All went good?

Liqui-Moly is the best of the best. Google the which one is right for the PDK. Or check the link above that I had sent.

About to order but I was reading through and I have some concerns that I need cleared up before I place the order (most likely before the weekend haha)

1. How much will I need for my PDK? I saw some sources saying 8 liters, some 6 liters, some 6.5.

2. I'm looking at the part where it says "Liqui Moly recommends this products for certain vehicles" etc etc.
I only see Porsche 999.917.080.00 and Porsche 999.917.080.01. Are these fine as for Liqui Moly to be an alternative to Pentosin FFL-3?

3. It says on the bottle "Fully Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid". I think I've been doing a bit too much research on this PDK service but I want around and saw that ATF isn't supposed to be in the PDK, or it'll cause failure. I'm assuming that the one on the bottle is just different or a name.

4. Do you reckon I can keep the transmission filter for now or should I swap it out? Car has 78,000km or around 48,000miles.

Don't mind me, I might be a bit clueless on some stuff, I'm just 17 years old. :]
Appreciate your help.

On the PDK (Panamera 4s 2012) i've refill with 9.5 liters.
If you put Moly i don't know if the Moly and ffl-3 can use together. You need make total refill.
If you refill oil PDK change your filter.
