PDK Service - 73.5K miles
I took my 2018 Panamera to a reputable Indy in Chicago (FIscher Motors). They replaced my PDK fluid. it took about 8.5 quarts (but less than that came out). Very dirty.
Since the change, I notice smoother shifting especially between 1st and 2nd gear. Honestly, feels like new. I did the service at 73.5k miles. I do recommend to do it before then if you plan to keep it for a long time.
Dealer wanted well over $3k for PDK plus "60k Service" (I assume air filter, brake fluid, cabin air filter)

Good to hear. I have 67K miles on my '12 PDK and I'm going to schedule the PDK fluid change next week (independent mechanic). What did you pay? I was quoted $1200+tax (includes filter).

Shop the fluid price to places like Gaudin Porsche and Sunset Porsche. You can save money. Also, many dealers are NOT replacing the pan as Porsche tells them it's not needed on a 970. The filter is in the pan though, so change it!

There seems to be different opinions on doing the filter at 60k or not. I'm at 59k on my '14 4S so have been reading up on it. The Pentosin fluid is $36/qt on Amazon, so $324 in parts if you don't do the filter. I'm planning DIY since I have a lift.

I use Amsoil DCT fluid, $20/quart with membership ($20). Great stuff.

Given that the filters catch the clutch material as they wear, and that a new tranny is $20k, I say change the filter every 60k on principle. Doing it every 120 saves some money to be sure, personally I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish. Changing it doesn't hurt anything, other than your bank account.

I would not scrimp on that service. The pan and the filter are combined. I would change the whole thing and new fluid. Every 60K as called for. It is not hard to do. The problem is you need to have the right equipment and run “fill mode“
