970.2 turbo: new to me driving questions

2015, CPO'ed, single previous owner with 24,500 miles. It was on the dealer lot for about 5 weeks. Are there recommendations for how to treat the engine for the first few weeks (days? miles?) given how few miles the previous owner put on the car?
I figure it's good to go but this is my first Porsche and high-performance ICE car (coming out of 9 years of Tesla ownership) and want to make sure there are no specific recommendations.

Do you have any maintenance records? As a minimum, I would suggest getting the oil changed and air filter replaced.
But, as for your initial question, all the break-in miles have already occurred, so no need to do any special/gentle driving.
Also, ensure you run quality 93 octane Tier 1 gas... coming from a Tesla, this may be a new thing![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Thanks for the quick response!
All previous maintenance was done at a dealership so I assume those records exist with Porsche. Oil change/new tires when it was listed for sale, per the selling dealer.
I'm a little rusty on the pump but I'm sure it will come back to me.

Although milage is low , years add up ?
PDK fluid and filter are costly but not hard to do , then you know the status .
Engine oil and air filters as previously mentioned , some non Porsche dealers may overlook basics ?
Otherwise an awesome car to be enjoyed !

Congratulations on getting an amazing car!
These have great build quality and there isn't a whole lot to worry about outside of preventative maintenance given the age.
The first thing I would do is contact any dealerships/shops that serviced the car (from e.g. Carfax) and ask them for a rundown of what service was previously done. That'll give you a good starting point and you can read/search for more info on suggested preventative maintenance if any hasn't been done yet.
Besides that, time to enjoy your epic ride 😎

You'll want to specifically ask if the air filter was also replaced because it requires removing the front bumper and is a major PITA.
