Question help with C11006 & C11007 on PSM

So, my car is throwing all sort of PSM failures for some time. I bought an used PSM module from Lithuania on eBay but I was told by the mechanic that it would require some form of "coding" to work with my car. Now my own PSM module is finally dead and since I already have this other module here, I wanted to be completely sure I cannot make it work with my car before taking the plunge and buying a new one from Porsche.

With the new module, I get the DEC's C11006 "Coding" and C11007 "calibration, something... " (sorry, did not remember to take pictures, I think steering wheel).

By reading other topics on this forum, I noticed members who accidentally reset their modules to factory settings had the same problem and were able to "calibrate" it, so I was wondering if the same would not be possible with an used module from another car.

Unfortunately, such topics (examples below), do not offer the procedure to calibrate/re-code such module. I was wondering if this is something I could do with an iCarSoft device, or do I have to tow the car to a mechanic, or maybe if I should just give up entirely and go for a brand new module.

Thank you.
Regards.

Hi You need piwis to change module.
You choice the module and after you choice "Maintenance and repair".
There is function "change module" you need download software of the module and after you change module and you need charge software on new module.

Thank you for your reply.

Do you know if this is something a specialist garage could do or only dealerships?

I do not have PIWIS myself, it was way too expensive for me. But I can try to look for someone who has it.

Thank you.

Well, for future reference,

I've managed to calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) and calibrate the EPB after adjusting the air-gap and the last issue I have is this C11006 "coding" error.

I am looking for someone with PIWIS to attempt this "change module" thingy to see if this would finally resolve the issue.

I found someone on eBay with PIWIS who helped me "code" the PSM, but could not calibrate the EPB.
