Last week I put these tires on my 2020 Panamera 4S (21") at my local dealership - $2,483 incl tax & labor. Tires alone were $2000, which was the same as I was seeing directly from Tire Rack. I love the new shoes, very quiet and comfortable ride; coming off of OE Pirelli Cintauro A/S.
According to Michelin AS4s have the exact handling characteristics as Ps4s below 60mph and you only see the PS4s handle better at high speeds, which is probably not many places in North America.
I think they do well in winter particularly on the heavier Panamera but you’ll need more breaking distance than winters so be mindful, and if you want the best winter performance possible in terms of stopping power you’ll probably reduce braking distance in half on ice with proper winter tires.
I personally think the AS4s have a higher noise floor than other Michelins but that could be anecdotal, I havnt tested.

I want to replace the 19" Hankook summers that came with our '23 Panamera 4 with Michelin Pilot All Seasons. The original Hankooks Ventus set wore quickly and are noisy. Am running Michelin Alpins on dedicated wheels for the winter. Bridge season starts early here in Ottawa so A/Ss make sense as summer tires on our bad roads. HOWEVER Michelin has stopped making the A/Ss for 19" wheels (standard wheel on Panamera 4). Very disappointed. Will buy Pilot Sport 4s as summers and continue to change over early (late October) because of cool mornings.
Thanks for the heads up. Now I just have to hope I remember when it comes time to replace my tires. I use all-seasons because I am too cheap to have two sets of tires. I would think handling differences would be at the margins, and I don't tend to live that close to the line (not only cheap but chicken).
I didn't go N spec for my PS AS4's. I got them from Costco. They handle and ride great. I don't need the max performance out of them like my GT4. I didn't see the need to pay the extra for the N spec in the same time. Plus i think they were 400 cheaper from Costco and install vs the N spec at the time.
I ran the dragon in the wagon and while I wasn't pushing to hard, I pushed hard enough to have fun and it was great not issues with pushing or traction.
Same here, finally in July 2024 went with the 19" set from Costco as well - $1600 for the 4. Shortly thereafter drove 2500 miles from Kentucky to my new home in Newfoundland and was such a pleasant ride!
I did a little digging and this may be incorrect:
the N spec AS4s are older tech and while they had improved NVH and dry handling vs the standard AS4s this is no longer the case and the current standard AS4 appears to be superior in every category. The N spec exists because Porsche homologated it and becuase Porsche owners like it and continue to buy.
I think if you want ‘own’ feel go for it but I’d recommend buying the standard and keeping your extra money as there are no practical downsides.
Hello folks , My 2012 Panamera turbo (87000 km) has some oil leakage around oil pan. I would like to change this on next oil change. I have the gasket, my question is do I need a sealant with this OEM gasket? Any suggestions would be appreciated.thanks. Panamera 970 oil pan
