Aside from the chalk/black interior, its a twin to mine. Co-owner says "buy it - I woulda". We settled for all black interior because we wanted this particular ST Turbo.
All interiors should have regular maintenance.......black or chalk or red.
Load up on Griots and enjoy the car!
And you will, every time you click 'Sport' on the exhaust.......

I have a Chalk interior on my Panamera 4 Hybrid. Love it! 37K+ miles. No wear evidence. No dash glare either, because, as mentioned the dash(very large dash) is black. I would have zero hesitation getting this same color again.
EDIT: Noticing now that this is an older thread that may have be reactivated. I’ll leave the comment in case someone else is looking at thoughts on Chalk interiors.

Only problem is brand new denim pants-- or cheap leather jackets which can have the dyes discolor the leather. I had both happen in cars with chalk type interiors. But I still order light interiors as this color makes the interior more inviting and feel a lot larger inside. My new Panamera that I hope to take delivery of in two weeks- has the chalk interior with black dash, Race-tex everywhere including the steering wheel. And with speed blue stitching and the car is PTS Sapphire Blue Metallic.

Good thinking.......very nice color combination!
Given the relatively light tones of your current Tan interior, I think Chalk will work out OK for you in the future.

Second 971 with Chalk/Black here. I totally love it.
Easy to clean, but as others mentioned, a new dark denim will die out, especially in summer time...Seat ventilation helps here !

I'm late to the party, but my e36 M3 is dove grey which is a similar very light grey. Never had any issues keeping it clean, never felt it required more cleaning than any other color interior I've had.
