Well, I tried the car with my wife's iphone and the base carplay would be "ok" but I am an android guy so not having anything is enough to make me try.
I think I'm going to take the plunge and update my car this week. I got my '18 Turbo 2 weeks ago after the circ. pump recall was magically done.. after being told there was no ETA.
I spoke to Raymond today via whatsapp. I sent a message at 12:30pm my time... He answered. It was 4:30AM his time. Points for being responsive in the dead of night.

Big shout out to Raymond at Innovative Soft for upgrading my 971 Panamera Turbo ST to full screen HD with Android Auto activation.
It was straight forward to do and works perfectly with the Motorola MA1 wireless adapter plugged into the USB port in the armrest compartment for a wireless Android Auto experience.

Hi everyone. Just to add my experience with this upgrade from Innovative Soft. Upgrade is well worth while and simple to arrange. Raymond was accommodating and super patient when I wasn’t quite prepared. After sales support is spot on. Following some work relating directly to my PCM by Porsche the upgrade referred back to the original state . I contacted Innovative Soft who arranged to reinstall the upgrade all at no charge as part of the after sales support you receive with this product. I suspect my issue was simply down to the issue I had with my PCM and nothing to do with Innovative soft. Great to know the product is supported in this way. Highly recommend.

Hi all. Just another endorsement of Raymond and his product. My car (2017 Panamera Turbo) was in much need of Android Auto and I went for the whole screen option. Very happy I did so as I went on a 2,000km (about 1,250 miles) round trip last week and having Waze available made things much easier for me.
Installation went well despite my fists made of ham (Raymond I am still sorry about dropping the SD card between the seat and centre console) causing the install to take longer than anticipated.
Five out of five feedback from me and if you are on the fence in my view this is a worthwhile upgrade.
Just installed the large screen. Looks great. Song is very responsive on WhatsApp and is always there to help and participate. First rate service.
couple of points;
I needed to upgrade the PCM first. Link was sent to my email. It was a 7zip format and this require software to properly unzip
The upgrade went well but a little trick to push down round button then home. A call vs texting helped to clarify.
Full screen upgrade. This require TeamViewer to be installed on your laptop. The App on your PC will have the log in info, not through web browser.
We had some confusion with connection setup as my laptop does not have Ethernet output. It became apparent I needed two USB to Ethernet connectors.
I got this but didn’t use as I took my old Sony computer out of retirement to ensure this went smooth. So be aware that the upgrade required Ethernet output on your computer or you may need two USB to Ethernet converters.
in the end, happy customer and I am receiving the Bluetooth wireless adapter for wireless Car play connection as part of deal.
