Panamera Vs Panamera 4 for California.

Any additional observations?
I have come across an “interesting” opportunity. It is a very low mileage ’21 very well equipped Panamera in colors inside and out that I like. It is also comparatively speaking a bargain (no such thing really exists but, by comparison…) As always, the devil is in the details and this particular example is a rare RWD version.
This is not an automatic disqualifier in my book for several reasons. 1. I live in the mid-Atlantic region and, in the 40+ years that I’ve lived here, there have been only a handful of weather episodes with any significant snow accumulation. 2. I am retired, have no daily commute and driving somewhere is very rarely a must do. 3. I am a very experienced bad weather driver having lived in upstate New York, Western Massachusetts, Chicago and northern Indiana most of the time in RWD cars often without the benefit of snow tires.
This particular car is fitted with 21 inch wheels with correspondingly few all weather tire options. (An apartment dweller, I can’t store a complete set of all season wheels and tires) I might consider a pair of rear wheel/tire changeovers.
With that as a preamble, are there any RWD Panamera owners/drivers who can comment on the car’s behavior in both routine and difficult driving conditions? What, if anything, does AWD offer in routine circumstances? How does ridding the front end of the weight of driver components (and, presumably, a transfer case) affect the behavior? Note: I drive quickly but not “hard.” Maximized traction for straight-line acceleration is not a concern.
Any comments? Observations? ETC.
