You get full complement of options/sport equipment with the GTS that you'll not find easily on the 4S. Find a way to drive each one, or just the GTS, then you can assess the difference.

I love my 13 GTS. It is much more of a driver car than 4S, has a lot of options inline with turbo, sits lower, bigger brakes, exhaust note to die for, in 13 had sport appearance front end..... my vote would be GTS I'm biased

I went with a 2016 4S over another model year GTS, primarily because I found a low mile (< 10K) 4S with an excellent set of options. I think I'm also appreciating the better gas mileage given my long commute, so I'm happy with my purchase.

For the 971 generation, definitely GTS. 4S is fine(i have one) but i do miss V8 powah and sound!
970 generation, not so sure, styling is not my cup of tea but if that is not an issue, definitely go GTS imho.

The 4s has fewer cylinders sitting in front of the front axle so there is a handling advantage and I’ve read the gas mileage is better too. I drove a 4s but it didn’t give me a sense of having something powerful under the hood in normal driving. I ended up with a GTS.

not only that, but the V8 gets pretty good mileage anyway. At least in the 970 S model. GTS motor has a bit more power, but fundamentally same engine. I get 27-28 mpg on a road trip with the V8 S. Plenty good IMHO.
