sport exhaust
hello all.....traded in my boxster for a 2014 Panamera 4s....grandkids and wanted the back seat so I dont have to decide if I play with my grandkids or my porsche
but I do have a question: how do I know if the sport exhaust is working? dont hear a difference...but not pushing it hard ...yet. it lights up on button but no sound difference. do I need to select sport or sport plus? thanks all

I didn't have sports exhaust on my 2015 Hybrid (not available).
But on the 2017 hybrid I have.
Its not so noticeable in the car, if sports exhaust on and not in sports/sport plus and set of steady, theres often a bit of a low growl and "bang" maybe not the right word.
If in sports + can you hear any gurgling if you touch accelerator at a steady pace and the lift ?
Maybe test it through a tunnel
And by the way, the Panamera is outstanding for a long heavy car , but you will miss the handling of the boxter when using a road like a track. None the less welcome to the club.

While in my garage with the drivers door open when I push the sport exhaust button I can hear the valve open and the sound gets a bit deeper. Listening outside in standard and sport modes there is a noticeable difference as well, but inside it's barely noticeable as are any outside noises. The main difference I hear with it on is the burbling when coming off throttle. I just wish it would stay on once activated instead of having to activate it each time I start her.
