Where is the best location to get switched power
for Radar Detector?

I have a escort Max C, the dealer installed a power wire up to the rear view mirror. it works well. the mount is just below the mirror and I wrap the cable end around the mirror when the detector is not in use. I believe they took off the trim to lay the wire behind the window trim.

I ran mine from the fuse box on the passenger side, up along the A-pillar and along the windshield. Everything tucked away easily and I had no problem finding a powered fuse to tap into.
