Default DIY: Panamera Service Reminders - Durametric Reset

I see many asking how this is done with Durametric.
Here is the process.

Simple, and quick too.
Need to have Durametric cable (any flavor), plus SW from Durametric web site. My used version was 6.5.5.5.

Good luck.

Anyone know if it works with the 971? Or even another tool that is known to work with the 971?

When I start Durametric, I see the car/engine/transmission selection. The only thing available for Panamera that I see, is 970. I have not tried my durametric on 971, and do not plan to (would waste my VIN on car I do not own).
However, if there is anyone out there, who does not mind purchasing a 971 for me to own, so I can use the tool, experiment, etc, I will be more than willing to do so.
Just let me know, I will write all the DIYs I can with it.

I would like to know what scanner will work for 971, 2017-2018 Panamera. I know Durametric work for my 2016 Oil Reset function. Durametric did not work for seating reset, I had to bring my car to Porsche dealer to do it.

Thanks

My car is currently at the dealer for a navigation issue, but as soon as it comes back, I'll try and see if my Autel tool can reset the oil change indicator.

I got a reply from " Our POR II and POR V2.0 does not cover 2017 PANAMERA yet." Durametric can't support PANAMERA 971. I only know these 2 tools

iCarsoft POR V2.0 for Porsche and DURAMETRIC

Unless, you have a different tool can reset 2017 or 2018 PANAMERA.
Thank you

Both the iCarSoft and Durametric support the 970, there is a third option with the Schwaben (sold on Pelican parts website)(I have the iCarsoft POR II)

I need to reset the service interval for 2017 and 2018 Panamera. I like to upgrade to new Panamera unless I can reset the Service interval. Otherwise, my local Porsche dealer will be happy to see me every year to pay $-$$$. LOL ... I have no problem to use Durametric for my 2016 PAN, the service interval reset is all I care for.
If you reset your 2017 or 2018 PANAMERA service interval successfully, please let me know what Diag tool you use. Greatly appreciated ...

My Autel tool only works for the 970. Is no one else doing their own 971 oil changes yet?

Autel tools now support the oil change reminder reset through 2018 models

I highly recommend getting it from an authorized retailer other than Amazon. There are a ton of gray market devices out there. In addition, the functionality is supported by multiple models lower than the 906TS.

Also, unlike Durametric, the Autel works for every car manufacturer on an unlimited amount of vehicles.
