US$380 complete brake parts kit - too good to be true?
After having a brake pad sensor wear through, it was time to think about the brake job that I needed to do. I called a couple of parts shops and the best I was going to find locally was around US$1300 for rotors, pads and sensors, for all 4 corners. I found this deal on Ebay for everything for only $380:

I figured it must be too good to be true so I set off researching the parts included. It included semi metallic/ceramic Brembo pads, which should be decent. The rotors are Meyle, which I couldn't find much info on for our car. Reviews in BMW forums were positive.
I figured I would chance it so I ordered this kit, and have since installed it without issue. I have put about 2500 KM on them so far, and they perform better than the unidentifiable rotors and Bilstein pads that were on it before. No squealing or significant dust either. If I had intended to track this car, I might have gone for a more known/expensive package, but my P4S will never be more than a fun daily driver for me. I'll update as time goes on if they rust or start to have issues.

that's a good price...I spent about 900 on pelican to do all 4 corners.....I could have went cheaper, but went with some higher cost parts with the perception of higher quality. really good results so far. Dealer wanted close to 3 grand.
