Default Bought New Rims and the Stock Wheel Sensors Dont Fit

I changed the rims and tires on my panamera. When I picked up the car the warning on the dash was saying no sensor input from the wheel sensors and the mechanics told me that the wheel sensors woud not fit my new rims. They said i needed to get some generic wheel pressure sensors.Does anyone know what the generic wheel sensors exist are that will sync with the 2011 panamera, I hope someone has experience with this.Thank you

what wheels did you get? the TPMS doesn't have different sizes... in my opinion, the OEM TPMS is the best fit. I've run a few different wheel setups on my 2016 Panamera and I've never had to buy different ones, however, if you go into your settings you can set the load depending on tire and rims size that way it will read it. if still having issues in my opinion just go to your local dealership they may just have to rescan them into your car's system. also is the flat tire light on your dash solid on or blinking? you should also be getting a message on the screen saying error if some sorts involving the TMPM.

So I have a 2018 and switched to 22 inch Vossen wheels. I didn't want to dismount the stock 21's so I just had Tag Motorsports (the guys who did my wheels) order me some generic sensors and they are working great. Not sure if there is a difference between sensors on our cars. Also not sure why your stock ones won't fit, I've never heard that.

Generic ones have adjustable stems and the body of the sensor can be moved.

You need to sure of the sensor MHz. There has been a mix of 315 and 433 on the Panamera depending on model and options. I have three sets of rims and tires and use the Autel MX-Sensor 2 which I can program, as needed. They run about $120 for a set but you need someone to access with the proper tool. A number of tire shops use these and should have the tool. I just bought the kit and 8 sensors. I have used these for years on all of my cars and they have been reliable (4 cars, 10 sets of wheels).

I know you are going with 21's but what style?? Or do you want to wait and show them off when they are on?

Guys,
I'm looking at a pair of 21" Vessels myself. I started to grab some 22's but according to my guy Michelin doesn't make the requisite size for the rears in 22 and I refuse to use a different tire brand. Do you guys think the 21's would look good. I have the stock 21" Sport Design wheels now and I am unhappy with the stance of the car. Thought about spacers but decided on a new set of wheels/rubber.

Thoughts?

love the look of the all black vfs 1 on the white Panamera I ran the 21' brushed silver on my Panamera. loved the way they look and the way the car drove. but it was time for some change can't wait for the new wheels to get in. what tire brand and size are you running?

i had gone with 21's also. new wheels should be in soon though! cant wait to see how they look on the car.

I went with Pirelli Nero GT 315/25/22 rear and 265/30/22 front. No complaints about the tires at all but there aren't many options for this size and it looks like they have been discontinued so that's a little annoying. I would have loved to have found a 275/30/22 for the front but there are no tires in that size so I had to go 265.

So what is the name or type of generic wheel sensors that fit older generation 1 panameras?
