Always good to be covered by some kind of warranty on these

Porsche tech, nice post! This is not as bad as I had imagined it would be. How do you bleed the air out of the line?

Thank you. Its not bad at all after doing so many.
The fuel lines are bled using the PIWIS tester. The coolant lines are bled by topping of fluid and raising bleeder valve near the cap.

Funny you mention that. I crawled into the dealer's shop just before service closed and the car was diagnosed and ready by 2pm the next day. I kind of scratched my head wondering how many of these $1200 pumps they had on the shelf but your quote above says it all.

What are the symptoms which would lead you to,this repair? Also do you have a description or p/n for the plastic cap?

The symptoms are the inability to get the thing to move more than 35mph and a big old warning on the dash about being able to drive but on reduced power.

I’ve watched a few of his videos on YouTube, really nice work . Thank you for creating these.
