Thanks for this heads up. I've been pondering a 2019 $140k-150k Cayenne Turbo order/build, but I've always preferred the Panamera ST. Have now found a few Turbo ST's that are "close enough" in config to what I'd order that I'm negotiating. We'll see...

Goodk luck, mine has more options than I would had ordered but I enjoy them all and they gave me a nice discount for a car with 200 miles on it. The car was an early build configured by Porsche which sat around, I think they are great and I do not know why they are not more popular. Could be the 4000 premium over the standard Panamera but IMO these are nicer looking and more versatile.

The one I'm looking at was delivered in October 2017, so talk about sitting around a long time! It only has like 40 miles on it. $182k MSRP. They offered $30k off without blinking. Given the age and so on, how far do you think they would (should) go on price?

Are you guys getting reasonable discounts on the GTS estates? My dealer has offered me 5k off but I feel like I am missing out. Not that I expect 30k off but I just feel like the discount offered was quite paltry.

I have used Apple Carplay in several cars and really hate it. I don't use it at all. Apple Maps is very poor compared to Google Maps. Even the Porsche map system is much better than using Apple Carplay maps. There's no other point to using Apple Carplay in my opinion; in my 2018 Sport Turismo, I stream music from my phone, from Jukebox (sadly eliminated by Porsche for 2019 models), and from my glovebox CD player (also sadly eliminated by Porsche for 2019 models). Volvo is putting Google Maps in their cars evidently starting with MY2020. I wish that Porsche would follow suit. One of the bad things with Porsche maps in the new models is the poor labeling of street names; street names are often invisible on the map -- bad design...

I believe the latest iOS version now lets you directly access Waze and Google Maps in CarPlay.

Some time being the advent of iOS 12 at the end of September 2018. You don't have to use Apple Maps on CarPlay; is there some deficiency in the way Google Maps is handled in CarPlay?
