971 Center Console Touch Panel Durability?
Hey folks, I'm curious if anyone has observed scratches or any other defects on the touch panels in their Panamera. A dealer is telling us not to worry about it since it's "10 times stronger than Gorilla Glass", which we find rather amusing.
Thanks,
Chris

I told that dealer a million times not to exaggerate!
Seriously though it should be fine. I have a touch screen on my Lexus LS460 which I bought new in 2007. It's still in perfect condition. Just don't clean it with anything than a slightly moist microfiber towel, or the one that Porsche supplied.

Almost two years with a 971, with the piano black finish, and so far no scratches on the touch panels nor the infotaiment screen. If anything was going to show defects, it would be the piano black surfaces, I would think.

No issues on mine either, I use a microfiber cloth. The piano black surfaces are a totally different story, even though the car is only 3 months old. Should have gone for the Sweetgum package.
