I highly recommend the BlendMount and MirrorTap. A clean option if you’re going with a stand radar product. I’ve put these in all my cars.

As part of my purchase negotiation I had them arrange for my Valentine to be wired in properly with the wire completely hidden. The Valentine sits high on the windshield just to the left of the rear view mirror. I like this installation because it is almost invisible from the outside and thus does not attract smash and grab thieves. Works perfectly. In California highway patrol and most city cops only use Ka band so I have K and X bands turned off thus very few false alarms.
My iPhone goes into the center console hooked up via USB and I use Apple CarPlay to listen to Amazon Prime music.

Have you considered Laser Jammers? We have so many Laser Traps here running Radar Detector without a Laser Jammer is a surefire way to get a ticket!
In any case, if you install Jammers (most use AL Priority) you can add a hardwired Radar into it for about $500 bucks and hide it all!
