Default Add-A-Circuit fuse, not working

I'm trying to hard-wire my radar detector to the driver side panel, however, it doesn't seem to be working. I'm using the same kit I used in another car, so I know it works. Any ideas what I could be doing work? I tried a few fuses, but mostly tested with the 5A lights one (since it powers on without turning the car on). However, I'm getting no power on the added line.

This is the product I'm using:

Amazon Amazon

What could be wrong? Fuses look good. I tried rotating the fuses and the add-a-citcuit adapter.

Seemed okay. Would the negative ground keep it from working?

Absolutely. I’m not sure what your hardwire cable looks like but it should have a positive split for power to the fuse box and a negative split that goes to ground. Run a meter touching the positive meter needle end to the metal at the fuse end and the negative meter needle end to where you’re grounding (negative) point is. You should see about 12v without the key being on when using the driver side fuse box. They’re hot all the time.
