i wrote to durametric. This was their answer:

Thank you for that info. I suppose I'll just wait until they release something. No rush.
Here are some pics from the oil change:
Oil drain plug easily accessed after removing the felt cover. I replaced the bolt and crush washer. Torqued to 35 ft. lbs. (I couldn't find a specific torque spec for 971 but 35-37 is what I've seen and used historically)
Oil filter location in the valley (Cap torqued to 25 Nm)
