Default 971 Panamera ST - Toll Pass

Hello

Very very excited, I've just pulled the trigger on a new, showroom Panamera Sport Turismo......scheduled to pick it up next week

Quick and hopefully easy question, I've checked the online manuals and done a forum search without success, where on the windscreen / windshield do people mount their toll pass?

Thanks in advance

I found this response on another thread..... Hope it helps.
My dealer was able to get me this picture. There is nothing in the manual that I could find on locations in the window for transponders/radar detectors.

My FasTrak pass is mounted in the lower left hand corner of the windshield on my Turbo Sport Turismo. My gate opener for work is mounted just above it. Both work without any issues.

That depends on how large your tag is.
Here in TX they are about 3/4 inch tall, by about 3 inch wide.
I mounted mine directly behind rear view mirror, right under the ending (tip) of the black area in center of glass (on your pic. below the circle in black of glass).
Not visible from behind mirror at all and works like a charm.

Just to clarify and point out, I believe the picture above is meant to show specific areas of the windshield on Thermal and Noise Isolating Glass option. Not sure if it matters so much on the standard windshield.

Can anyone with the Thermal and Noise Isolating Glass that the positions labeled 1 in the photo above actually work?

I guess I would ask what you mean "doe it work". Does what work? I have the Thermal and Noise Isolating Glass (and I love it) and I mounted my Toll paying transponder (EZPass) in the etched out area shown in the picture. I have had zero problems going through toll booths. I do not have a camera mounted, so if that is what you are asking about, I can't help.
Good luck.

Yes sorry I meant would an EZ-Pass work in the spots in the diagram if you have Thermal/Noise Isolating Glass. Thanks for confirming.
