Default 2018 Panamera Lost key

i lost one of my original key fobs between Santa Monica, CA and Corpus Christi, TX. Costs $385 to replace plus $85 labor at dealer to code. Haven’t bought the replacement yet, but I’ve ordered Tiles from Amazon for the one I have remaining. Limited tracking via Bluetooth.

Hope your fob turns up, but what a good idea! Any recommendations for brand? I've got a couple items sitting in my Amazon cart, so will definitely add this to my next order!

Tiles is the brand. Combo pack for under $60.

Wow, I had no clue a replacement cost that much. I just got my 2018 4S and on one of the two keyfobs I got the red lighting around the Porsche symbol wasn’t lighting up so I asked about it and they checked it out, said it works fine other than the light not working and ordered me a brand new one. And, gave me the non-lighting keyfob back to keep as a third key.

 - if there is a market for this I certainly don’t need a third key.

These keys have always been expensive. We learned the hard way back the first summer we had the wife’s 02 A6. One of us dumped the ice out of a fabric cooler bag into the Atlantic at the end of a day of boating. Unfortunately her keys were in the side pocket. They aren’t waterproof...

I lost my 2016 pan key as well. I could not find it from my driveway to the house passing through garage and walking around the deck. The cost is around $400 +, the porsche Service manager suggested I should find it hard. I use the 2nd key now with tile attached to the pouch.

I’m still butt-hurting from the $1,534 I had to pay Ferrari last week to get a replacement key... and the car is not even keyless entry/start.

Pays to have friends of someone in the business! Only cost me $155 including programming the key for a new remote. Only got 1 key with my Panny that I bought from a non Porsche used car purchase. Actual cost about 350-400. Saved me a bunch.
