Default 971 4 e-hybrid VR tune

Saw this on vividracing. 4 ehybrid tune that boost the power from 462hp / 516lb-ft to 580 hp / 616 Ib-ft. Thats a pretty ridiculous gain if true. Who wants to be the guinea pig????

Yea we already know the car has a lot of power and it can effect the warranty.. no need to restate.

Someone please buy one as a test subject, would be very interested to see the results.

Preferably someone who paid cash and can afford to lose it.

In theory it is possible, the 4 e-hybrid has the (exact?) same engine as the Panamera 4S. In the e-hybrid it delivers 330 hp and in the 4S it's 440 hp. So with a simple remap a gain of 110 hp (to 572) should be possible without stressing the engine. I don't know if all the components of the engine are the same, but with the VAG ethos of standardized parts it could be.

as always, i'd like to see some before/after dyno results. same car, same day.
comparing after results to published manufacturer numbers is highly inaccurate and misleading.

A couple of notes here from my research in this area and some colleagues that have done the tune:

1. You won't get the full 440hp out of the 4E engine with a tune.
2. Vivid is mostly a reseller of other tunes. Some are made specifically for them, but most they just re-brand. Google/contact TMC Motorsport, they provide most of their tunes.
3. I've seen some Dyno's for the 4S tunes - nothing crazy, but it adds ~10% HP. Expecting anything more from a piggy back is just silly.

Do you know if the gains on the ETune was worth it? This retailer mentioning 70hp with 100torque. It’s a ecu flash

From my experience, expect 1/3rd of what they promise. If that's worth it or not is up to you
