Service did it. It will cost you about 600-800 to get it done. The entire seventeen console needs to be removed. So all in your at $1k for fancy cup holders.

Perhaps its just me but Im not feeling good about taking my interior apart with the potential of it creaking or rattling after.

So I don't have these spring loaded ones - but my standard cup holder broke and the dealership had to replace it. It indeed took them a few hours and they managed to miss-align some parts after so that my little cubbie compartment by the gear snifter would no longer open. Which then required them a few more hours to do it again. My only feedback here is that it does seem like it's time consuming job to replace the cup holder.

My USA cup holders has one that has two of the spring parts break/fall into the console… anyone have instructions on how to do this?
