Panamera 971 Euro spring loaded cup holder

I just received this part after I ordered it from Suncoast. I will take photos of it and see how it mounts within the space. 4 hours seems a long time to get this to fit. If it does not look promising I will be returning. Suncoast states on the parts description when Porsche dealer is required, so this is misleading.

So I brought the cup holders to the dealership and thought since they were doing some other work on the car I may get a break. Not the case though, $865 to install and whole center console needs to come out. I am working another angle to see if I can get instructions on how to do this myself. As I assume 2 hours to pull it out and 2 hours to put it back in. I am also concerned of any issues that may arise. The holders are as cool as hell though. Sorry I did not take photos yet as I will tonight and post.

I had mine installed today. It was $410 in labor (2.5 hours at a rate of $164). The service guys thought it looked awesome (first one they did) and said there are 3 more they are scheduled to install. Such a shame that it isn't a standard option.

I am sorry I have not. I pinged my contact twice and Porsche recently gave me a $400 credit due to a message up on my car so I dropped the car to dealer today and using the credit for the install of the cup holders. If I do get the instructions I will post. Sorry

So I had the dealer install mine since I had a gift certificate from Porsche for $400. Total install cost was $675, so for me $275 out of pocket. They look nice and operate very smoothly. Photos show the holders up and down.

Just pick up my Panamera, from my Porsche dealership, after having the spring loaded cup holders installed. They look great! Can't understand why these are not an option here in the States. It took the technician about 3 hours to do the work (had to dismantle the center console to install). Since this was the first time the dealer installed these he cut me a break on the costs and only charged me for two hours ($350.00). Add the cost of the parts from Suncoast ($199 plus tax) it totaled $565.00. A lot of money I know, but they do look really nice. Would I do it again if I knew the costs ahead of time? Not sure, probably yes.
With respect to the question, someone asked about the grabbing/tightness of the holder itself, I found them to be much like the holders in my other cars i.e. secure but not grabby. Overall much better.
Just as an additional note, the dealer ordered two additional sets of these holders, one to install on a showroom car and one for inventory. Hope my comments can help people make an informed decision.

Hi
I just picked up a 2019 panamera and ordered a pair of these cupholders. Just wondering if you were able to replace these yourself or did you have to have someone install them for you? I'm excited to give it a go as I'm pretty good with things like this but wanted to see if you found any removal instructions at all?
