If I sell on my own, probably well over that amount, but I'm wary about trying to sell privately.
And not financing through Porsche, either. They really should be more catering to their customers to help lower their costs, but I have no idea what their profit margins are; I wish that car manufacturers and dealerships were more transparent and honest about their costs and profit margins.

Bingo " sell privately " a non specailty car - good luck ! You will end up giving it away to CarMax - not that I have a crystal ball or anything Just a hunch

I had a Panamera for a loaner car, and LOVED it. I sent a note to the salesman who got me into my 991, asking about a 3yr/15k lease for a base Panamera with $100k sticker. They came back with $10k down, $1550/month! That's just absurd. I guess I will be looking at CPO instead.

Why don't you just pay the entire amount in full at purchase?

Been there & done that .... drops like a rock or should I say boulder, and in todays world most everyone one wants to buy a CPO in the second hand market unless you want to sell it at wholesale pricing to all the tire kickers.

This has been my personal experience with previous Cayennes & one Panamera in the family.

So I promised myself never to BUY a non speciality car, just rent them and return them.

I keep my cars so buying makes more sense for me. If you change cars frequently I can see how other financing options make more sense.
