VENTILATED SEATS!!!
Ventilated seats are the most important option. You want that cold air on your nuts after a long day at work. I actually didn’t get the Tesla and got the panamera just because they removed the ventilated seats on Teslas (only available in the p100d now)

Thanks imgleb, I ended up getting one a lot sooner than I thought I would and it has vented seats (front and rear) and I'm glad I did as they are great.

Yes, the ventilated seats do work....that is, when I remember to turn them on!! In my case, I don't hear them - even on high. Nice feature, but as others have said not necessarily a must

lmao. That first blast of cool air is like your morning cup of coffee. The seats in my 4 (first car I've owned with ventilated seats) are very gentle compared to the ventilated seats in my wife's GMC Acadia. The GMC will dry your teeth out (and everything between on the digestive route) on the highest setting.

i made them an absolute 'need' with my latest purchase and i would not second guess that decision at all. i get hot, more than most, and in TX your interiors can be brutal in the afternoons. without question, the vented seats in my panamera are 100% worth it and i love them. it's a subtle cooling, but full power is quite noticeable for me. i think for the people who say they could take them or leave them, it's likely not as critical for them. i can tell you, for me, they make all the difference in the world. i actually wound up with a 4-zone, 4 heated/vented seat car and love it.

Of course they work, and they worked extremely well in my Cayman (still own), 911 (previously owned), and now my Panamera.

Some manufacturers use a cooling option that sucks rather than blows. I'm referring to the HVAC system, not some kind of custom massage feature.....
The Panamera is the first car I've owned where the cooled seats really work quite well. You can also use the cooling and heat together to move air and keep circulation going. I like it. Is it a must have? Well, buying used yes, but I doubt I'd pony up for it on a new one!

I find the option nice for those times when you are at the track and using AC is not a good idea or allowed (moisture pooling). The cooled seats help keep things bearable in the 20 minute stints.

My $60,000 Ram truck has vented seats . I would think a $100,000 plus panny is a must have item. So the one I bought has them. A dealer here in San Diego county had all the base model ones on the lot didn’t haven them so I walked away . He just could t believe believe it was a important option . I think it was a bad mistake in this climate.

I was fortunate that my pre-owned 2011 Panamera base had it (along with 14 way seats, PASM, Sports Chrono Plus). Very nice here in deep south Alabama. Leather doesn't breathe unless it's still on the cow.

I am located in Southern Florida and feel they are a must have. They help on hot days. More valuable than heated seats down here. I had them in a 13 Cayenne GTS and now 18 PPTTS. a must have
