Quite ironically, this post resurfaced on the day I dropped my Panamera off for its 80K service. Got a brand new '18 Macan as a loaner, and guess what color it was:

 

Personally, I LOVE the Volcano Grey look.

We got a 2017 Macan S...2 years ago and LOVE the color! Interior on our Macan was Agate Grey and we love it!

As previous people have stated I think, it changes colors depending on the lighting.

Now that you have seen it in person. What do you think?
