Porsche really needs to step up and buy that car from you, and not sell it but tear it apart to learn what the hell is going on with it.

I've been hoping the same thing. I haven't heard anything from Porsche corporate on the issue which is really disappointing.

Honestly all I want is what I purchased. As the CPO brochure states "Because every Porsche should come with peace of mind. We can’t foresee the future. But we can guarantee its quality."

I expect an issue here and there, I didn't buy a brand new car but this is beyond what I could ever imagine.

Until the car is sold I've made the decision to stop driving it. I can't take the bi-weekly visits to the dealership. It's gotten to the point where I feel uncomfortable bringing it in.

I feel your pain, buddy. So sorry to hear ... We have 2016 PAN4, my wife is driving it. it is very good so far. I was thinking about 2017 PAN4S, but I decided to order Tesla S 75D. I don't know yet. The Tesla will be available April delivery. Hope you will get a resolution soon from Porsche. I may stay with GTS or 4S.

Good Luck.

Good luck and hope for good resolution. After all, Porsche prob spent $20k in warranty coverage and will continue - so even if they gave $20k voucher it’s prob better than dealing with continued $ into future repairs.

I couldn't locate a replacement Turbo S. They're very rare in Canada. Even with all it's faults I still grin ear to ear each time I go for a drive. I had a streak of bad luck which is not representative of the majority. I asked Porsche to extend the CPO on the current vehicle. They accepted and I got a 2 year unlimited mileage extension.

In the last 30,000km (20,000 miles) I've had a 2nd air suspension pump fail on me and a PDCC hose bust. An issue here and there really doesn't bother me. The dealership has always been great to work with and Porsche came through. They had no legal obligation to do anything other than fix the car.

With CPO coverage now available until 15 years I might keep this vehicle another 3-4 years. My next car will also be a Porsche.

Default Panamera smoke when warming up front not rear of car

I have a 2015 PORSCHE panamera that I love!

Had it for 6 months and I have noticed that when it cools down for about an hour or 2 and then you drive it again (warming up again) it smokes for about 2 seconds and you can smell burning, the smoke seems to be coming from the engine and under from the sides of the car, I’ve tried to upload a video but it won’t let me.
I notice a slight whiiiring sound that sounds like its coming from the heating system at the same time but again only for a couple of seconds.
Any help would be much appreciated

My daily driver 2018 Panamera (Base) with build date November 2017 has been absolutely perfect after 34,000 miles. Along with my 2020 992, easily one of the 3 best cars I've ever owned.

Default Leak?

It sounds to me like something is possibly leaking and hitting the hot exhaust causing the leaking fluid to smoke. I had an issue with a Mercedes CL550 where I guess some sort of transmission coolant or something would spray out at high speeds randomly and smoke like hell when it hit the underneath of the car. Then it would stop and not happen again for weeks. I would definitely check for leaks.
