Taking Delivery of New Panamera 4s
I am taking delivery Saturday of my 2018 Panamera4. Rhodium Silver, with Black/Bordeaux full leather interior. Also will have:
Air Suspension
Rear axle steering
Carbon Fibre trim with heated CF/leather steering wheel
Adaptive Cruise
Premium Package Plus
Burmester Stereo
Its is to be a winter car, I am taking deliver with the Winter Wheel/Tires installed. I will also use it on highway trips. (summer car is a 2014 Cayman S).
I spec’d it as a luxury car, not a sports car, as I already have the CaymanS. I am very excited about it and will let everyone know how things go as I get acquainted with it.
Are there anythings I should be sure to look for at delivery? Thanks everyone.

Well, today was the day. It was a steady, pouring rain with dense fog all day. Standing water on the highway and between the fog and the spray near whiteout conditions. The drive home from the dealer with the new Panamera4 takes about an hour for me, and the car performed perfectly. I had come up to the dealer in my trade-in, a Lexus GX460, in similar conditions and it was a slow, white knuckle affair, but in the new Panamera4, it was a magic carpet ride. It was a true baptism of fire and the Panamera4 did all that was asked of it and more.
I love the Burmester, still have some stuff to play with, optimization etc, but even on default settings it is great. Tomorrow, colder, but dry, will be the day to start learning and experimenting. Can’t wait. I will try some photos once the sun comes out against later this week.
