Default Sportdesign package

Have a 2018 4S ST on order. Not too late to add the SportDesign package. I know what the items are, but it's hard to tell what changes it makes to the front of the car.

Later than it could be. We're doing an Atlanta delivery and then driving back to the west coast. Want to get the car in May, so it will be a late March or April build. Not sure how soon it would be if wanted soonest in our home state.

Subtle changes but changes the character of the car in my view - that little bit more of a sports car versus luxury cruiser.

It changes the light bar on the front, shape of the grill and paints all of the front/back side bumpers.

Do it, no regrets guaranteed!

I’m interested to know what the difference in front ground clearance is between base and sport design. I know it’s pretty significant on my 991.1 which will scrape on even the most moderate of driveways, whereas with the standard front end was easy peasy.

With the ‘18 Panny, they don’t look like the difference is all that significant when I toggle it back-and-forth on the configurator. Agreed, the difference is subtle but like it a lot and would pay for it. But as my 911 is a weekend ride and don’t mind being careful with steep driveways and speed bumps, a Panny DD car that scrapes easily would be a pain in the rear.

LBC - I would say no difference at all. The 3 suspension settings probably make a 3-4inch difference between them.

Go for it! Its looks beautiful on the Sport Turismo, especially on lighter colors like silver, white, sapphire blue or agate grey. It adds a lot more exclusivity to the car, but be sure to take 21" wheels.

Thanks all. Got a preliminary build on a Sport Turismo e-hybrid in chalk. Will use the check I'm gonna get from them for the emissions repair on my 2014 CD as a deposit as soon as I get it.
