Default How do you operate Ambient Lighting so that its useable?

I am having trouble understanding the ambient lighting feature. I understand you can set the intensity in the settings.

However the overhead U shaped dome light is just too bright!

Is there a way to set it so the foot well lights, and the door compartment lights are on while driving but not the overhead, bright dome light?

Yes - all within vehicle settings. Each light can be separately controlled - just don't forget to hit the save key once you've done it!

Could you go into more detail on this? The only setting I can find is adjusting the percentage of brightness. I can't find anything where you can have the footwellss and accessories t lighting on, and shut off the dome light while driving at noght

OK, I feel really stupid. Can you tell me exactly which menu settings you are hitting in sequence so I can find? Or maybe this is optional equipment I don't have?

From memory, I think it is Car - Lighting and then press on the relevant light on the screen depicted in the picture of the car.

If you didn't pay for ambient lighting then you won't have it.
