With a 6-speed manual? Sounds like they're doing it right.

As a Mopar fan, I heartily approve.

I like that Mopar too . Strangely I never owned one .

But when I did drive a Challenger , while it is a pretty mean engine, that car carries some weight too. Not that matters all that much in Texas as you are going straight anyway.

That new one sounds great . Nibble off some pounds and it is really great .

I do think the Challenger is about the truest of the newer cars to the original . It is big and roomy too.

But my Boss is that way too . When I climbed in it had a similar feel to my 1970 Mach 1 . Only a lot better . I guess it would be fast as stink if I put the Ford Racing supercharger up on it . But it throws more weight - and it probably needs a McLeod clutch in it too .

It would be nice if they sold this as a crate engine. I wonder if I could fit it in my suv

I know. That truly is ridiculous. Im hoping that engine finds its way to the Grand Cherokee SRT but i dont think it will.
I "heard" with the 707hp 650tq it ran a 10.91 1/4 but dont have a reliable source yet.

They are figuring high $60s and moaning about it . I guess they haven't dropped by a Porsche dealer lately and seen what you can get for 60 which isn't too much . Certainly not anything with half the Hp of a Hellcat.

Might be time for me to move out of the Boss . If it wasn't well . . . a Boss, I might . Having 707 sitting out there under cover just make me drool . Kind of like GM though - I don't much care for Dodge corporate stuff . But - - maybe .

Yeah I know it won't pass a Porsche in some corners . That is like saying Kate Upton can't fit in a size 34A bra too well . Who cares.
