The 'Poo Shoots' as Clarkson calls them are over the top and the interior when you look close shows the signs of cost plus I won't purchase anything with the suspension off a horse draw cart...

What does 'An available dry-sump oil system delivers through high g-force cornering.' mean... an optional extra??

Quote from the corvette website.

Interior fit and finish look like crap on the red car, and yes the switches are the same as on my truck too.. Look at the carbon dash above the steering wheel. YUK

Getting there.. Has my attention but like others have mentioned the interior still screams American Cheese. (Switches, etc.)

I would never kick the German cousin out of the garage but I'd certainly entertain adding one of these.. They are stupid fast!

kinda looks like a cross between a GTR and a Camaro.

Id say great performance for the dollar.
The Z06 version or what ever they might call it would be interesting.

The new Viper and Vette are serious contenders.

After bombing arounf the track in my little 997 all weekend im not sure if im interested into getting into a vehicle with a long nose and big dash....

I still stand in saying that the 1967 corvette is still the best vette to own

Honestly...WGAS about the turn signal stalk? Is that REALLY a factor in a purchasing decision?

What more do you guys want out of a turn signal stalk? Should it be covered in leather?

Shhhh.... don't tell anybody, but 80% of a 911's interior is shared with the lowly boxster. How dare they?

Exactly. WTF?

I have no idea whether this new Corvette is any good or just a gold chain. However, the rampant snobbery and elitism on display cracks me up. What does a GT3 cost, again? And it shares 80% of its interior with a Boxster?

Oh, the horror!

GM has outdone themselves this time. They took a big risk with this design and I think the risk has paid off. I hope they sell a ton of them so I can see this car on the road. The C7 is beautiful and so mean at the same time; I love it!

No need for PDK when you have this and you get to keep the enjoyment of having a 3rd pedal. Active Rev Matching ensures the perfect shifts whether you’re up-shifting or down-shifting.
Z51 package that offers an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), dry sump oil system

It looks amazing as well.

I agree a little over blown, but understand how a cheap interior can ruin the experience. True, 911's and boxters share 80% of interior, but the boxter is still a 50K car.

Issue here is a 50k is sharing the same razor thin cheap plastic as a Chevy Sonic. It's awful. Hopefully the production version will be great....
