Styling wise, I really like the side view, but the nose area is way to busy and detracts from the clean look of the rest of the car. I'd need lots more info on the car in general before deciding if it was desireable.

It's a 4wd hybrid

The original NSX was one of the greatest, raw, pure, simple sports cars of all time. It beat Porsche, Ferrari, everyone, was cheaper, and way way more reliable.

This new thing is sacrilege to the NSX name IMO. Very very disappointing.

The old NSX drove a lot like a 1973 911.

Come back when the car is close to being in showrooms. There have been new NSX rumors for years, no sense in getting all worked up over another phantom car.

I may be one of the few but never found the original NSX all that alluring. I see them on the roads occasionally up this way, but they don't do anything for me.

That's hysterical, Dan. I don't know if that means great things about the old 911 or describes how awful the NSX was--and it was an historical, well-driving sports car. It made every other sports car manufacturer, including Porsche (maybe less than the Italian brands, though), wake up and modernize its offerings. it revolutionized the fact that a sports car should be as reliable as an Accord.

David,

Funny you posted this.. I have been reading all I can on the new NSX. I really liked the original and like what I see (So far). I want to hear the specs as they develop. I dont plan to get rid of the 997 but I had an Acura before and it was trouble free for 10+ years. I just hate that it is not due out till 2015 (year model).

I've owned both a 73 S and a 91 NSX. I didn't find the handling of the two to be the same. Both were a lot of fun to drive.

Know nothing about it , but it does look good. Came into a 997.2 from new Honda s2000 in 07.

Again, another vehicle built from a reliable manufacturer. Acura needs an iconic sports car now the s2000 has also gone.
