There's nothing out there that says you can own only one car and people with 911 money tend to have money to own other cars as well.
Personally, I don't buy cars to make people envious or jealous. I am a driving enthusiast. I don't care what people think. I like that a 911 doesn't draw much attention in the northeast.

Jaguar stopped making the F-type a couple years ago. At the moment, there are 17 used examples near me that can be had for less $30k with the cheapest being $23k. They have been sitting for sale so long, that you could probably snare one for $20k or less. If anyone is truly envious or jealous, it's not like an F-type is expensive or hard to find. In a few more years, you'll find them in the teens, because there's no bottom on that depreciation curve.

"Lots of 911 owners have sold their 911s and purchased Jags instead." -- If this was true, Jaguar wouldn't be rebooting the whole company around luxury EVs.
There are tons of Porsches sitting on lots all around the country unsold the same applies to many other brands either the sellers have them priced to high or buyers are not in the buying mood because of the economy. You can say what you want but when I got the F-Type the reactions with real world driving is something else and that what really matters. Yes there are tons of 911 drivers buying Jags on the used market theres a huge thread of former 911 drivers on the Jaguar forum. Im in the northeast and you see 911s and 718s everywhere I even got a middle finger thrown at me while driving on the expressway because the Porsche GTS driver was so pissed and upset that my F-Type was getting all the attention. Whats even more surprising a Ferrari SF90 driver got so pissed as well because he expected to get all the attention and he didnt the facial expressions dont lie. I drive cars for the feeling and the experience and to me the Jag F-Type gives me the experience and the feeling a Porsche can never do or any other brand car can never do. Unless you owned Jags you will never understand the experience and the feeling. I had several models and in fact my whole collection now is Jags

The entire video is pure copium. Bought a lesser car and wants to justify it.

You proven my point lol. The fact that you guys are getting upset online on a forum is indicative of how Porsche owners act in real world situations. This the best you can come up with ? Its obvious the Jag F-Type is the more superior car for lesser money because its the car garnering all the attention on the streets and Porsche owners cannot stand it when a Jag pulls up and steal all the attention. Its ok because I pulled up on several Ferrari, Lambo, Rolls, Bentley, M, Amg, etc owners and they were upset too. Im a car enthusiast just like everyone else I like to drive based off the experience and the feeling I have with the car. And the F-Type and Jags overall give me the best feeling and experience when it comes to driving this is my preference. Of course you wouldnt know because you never owned several Jag models to get that experience and feeling that comes with driving them.

I didn't hear one compelling reason to buy an F-type over a 911 in the video. Guess I made the right choice.

Theres a reason why Jay Leno, Jeremy Clarkson favorite cars are Jags. Enzo Ferrari the founder of Ferrari favorite car was a Jag,

People aren’t giving you the middle finger, because they’re jealous or envious of your Jaguar.
If you’re approaching people in real-life with the same hostility that you demonstrate in this thread, well, that’s why you’re getting the middle finger.

No one is really upset unless being upset with an obvious troll counts…. You do you, Enjoy your car and feel free to rage about Porsche owners on the Jag forums…. Bye!

My wife and I own a Jaguar I-Pace. It’s her daily driver and it has been a fantastic car. I looked at the F-Type SVR before I bought my 911 Turbo S. It’s a very nice, sexy car and it was considerably less money than the 911. As much as I liked it, the 911 was the right choice for me.

I worry about Jaguar’s future. They’re switching to an all electric offering, with ultra expensive cars that are designed to compete with Rolls Royce and Maybach. They’ve trashed their storied brand identity with a new woke image that doesn’t appeal to the majority of their current buyers. I’m not sure they’ll recover.

Thanks Karen.
It was in the Porsche Technical Discussion forum when I wrote the message.
