I been searching for a bit to find my first Porsche 911. Went back and forth between 997.2/991.1/991.2 and currently have a deposit down on a yellow on black C2S 991.1 pending PPI results.

Already looking at ducktail options from Suncoast. Does the ducktail require any additional items for proper airflow to the engine or ability to use the existing 3rd brake light?

Welcome. I'm in your boat! Let us know how you narrowed it down to the 991.1.

 

Read, read and read many posts about the 997.2 vs 991.1 differences. Really could have gone either way but the current car was loaded with options, very fairly priced two owner, accident free, low mileage 991.1 C2S, plus in a bright yellow. My first preference was a C2S in Voodoo blue or similar bright blue color but never found one anywhere.
