Default 991.2 engine grill

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to change the engine grill on my 991.2 Carrera and could use some advice from fellow owners. I’m considering two options: the Turbo grill and the R-type grill.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PK911RGRILLE.html

For those who have experience with either of these, I have a few questions:

1. Which grill fits best and looks better on the 991.2 Carrera?
2. Which one is easier to install?
3. Are there any specific pros and cons to each option that I should be aware of?

Your insights and recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Best,
Bardia Afshar

Hello and welcome. The 911 R grill that you posted looks nice. There are also aftermarket carbon fiber options if that interests you. You’ll need to do some research if you decide to go with something like a turbo grill. It may not be a direct fit.

Opinions are obviously very subjective, but I like the GT3 Touring grill.

Considering all the potential modifications you can make to a 991.2, the grill would probably be last on my list. The factory grill looks good and there are so many other fun mods you can do, like wheels, exhaust, etc.

I have already changed the wheels and upgrade the exhaust and I have a great sound
so I have two other options when is changing the air intake grill and the other one is to change the front bumper to the GTS style
also change the rear spoiler to the ducktail style from
